Remember this guy? Nate Parker was Malcolm Danvers' computer-nerd minion who assisted in the kidnapping of Rachel Sutton at the end of Season One. Now he's being held in some strange lab/bunker with an even stranger marking on his neck.

Nate manages to escape from the compound, though when he reaches high ground, he turns into a wolf! Then when he runs past a tree marked with the same symbol on his neck, it triggers an implanted explosive and bye-bye Nate. So where is he ... and who did this to him?

Meanwhile, Elena's on what the movies call a "roaring rampage of revenge," tracking down mutts and demanding to know where she can find Malcolm, the man responsible for the murder of her human lover, Philip (whose severed head she found in her bed at the end of Season One). This mutt barks about an upcoming meeting on the docks.

The Alpha Council is none too pleased about the recent mutt uprising. They demand Jeremy track down and kill Malcolm within a week's time or else he'll lose his own Alpha status. The Alpha of the Spanish pack, Roderigo, stays in town to assist Jeremy in tracking down the villain.

Logan confronts the father of Jacob, a mutt who was killed during the siege on Stonehaven at the end of Season One. Jacob's father tells Logan that Jacob owed some money to a meth dealer in Rochester, which provides Logan with the first clue in tracking down Malcolm.

Jeremy hypothesizes that the funding for Malcolm's mutt uprising came from a traitor in their own midst: namely, the Alpha of the Russian pack, Roman Novakev. Roderigo swears he'll kill Roman himself once Jeremy secures proof of his betrayal.

141946

Elena and Clay arrive at the docks to find only one mutt showed up for the meeting. The mutt refuses to give away any information about Malcolm and instead taunts Elena about Philip's death. Elena pulls out his tongue, breaks his neck and sets him on fire. This lady means business!

Bitten_gallery_201Recap_08.jpg
141951

As the mutt burns, Elena and Clay are confronted by a group of weirdos who demand they deliver Malcolm. "We're here for the One True Cursed, the Werewolf: Malcolm Danvers. For the Undoing: The Destroyer Comes!" Elena and Clay find it's something of a challenge battling these wolf-seekers as they don't seem to feel any pain.

Bitten_gallery_201Recap_09.jpg
141956

After Elena and Clay finally manage to subdue their attackers, they find that they have no I.D.s ... and have the same marking on their necks that Nate had. Who are these people?

Bitten_gallery_201Recap_10.jpg
141961

Meanwhile, Nick and Joey have implanted a hidden camera in the I.D. badge of Nick's latest one night stand -- an employee of BXZ Capital -- and discover that Malcolm is indeed receiving funds from a Russian source ... and has been making utility payments to Rochester Power.

Bitten_gallery_201Recap_11.jpg
141966

Logan's girlfriend Rachel's being held in Malcolm's hideout in Rochester, guarded by his mutt goons ... though the tables are soon turned on the kidnappers as the lights start to flicker. A crow flies into the room, hits a wall, gets up and flies away like nothing happened ... what the heck is going on here?

Bitten_gallery_201Recap_12.jpg
141971

Even Malcolm seems uneasy about all this, and all the more so as everyone's nose starts bleeding and they're suddenly enveloped by a flash of bright light. They're under attack, but by whom ... or what?

Bitten_gallery_201Recap_13.jpg
141976

Logan arrives at the hideout sometime later, finding a bunch of gruesomely murdered mutts ... and a symbol on the wall written in blood, the same that was seen on Nate's neck and the necks of the weirdos who attacked Elena and Clay. Malcolm is nowhere to be found ... and neither is Rachel.

Bitten_gallery_201Recap_14.jpg
141981

Jeremy was playing with Roderigo all along -- he knew it was Roderigo who's been funding Malcolm, not Roman. Roderigo confesses to Jeremy that he recently wired $200,000 to Malcolm in Baton Rouge. Jeremy spares the traitor's life .. for now.

Bitten_gallery_201Recap_15.jpg
141986

Meanwhile, Malcolm's hitched a ride with a kindly old man headed south, though unbeknownst to him, he's being followed by two strange women who seem to wield otherworldly powers ...

Bitten_gallery_201Recap_16.jpg
141991

Jeremy, Elena, Clay, Logan and Nick track down Malcolm to his hideout in Baton Rouge, where Jeremy demands to know the location of Rachel.

Bitten_gallery_201Recap_17.jpg
141996

Malcolm seems unwavered by the presence of his vengeful family, claiming there's something much worse coming for all of them. He also refuses to reveal Rachel's location.

Bitten_gallery_201Recap_18.jpg
142001

After Logan and Nick investigate a disembodied voice that sounded like Rachel calling for help, they run back to Malcolm's hideout to keep Jeremy from killing Malcolm, watched by the two women who were following the big bad wolf. They seem very interested in Malcolm as well ... but for what purpose?

Bitten_gallery_201Recap_19.jpg
142006

Clay shows Malcolm a photo of the bloody symbol on the wall of his Rochester hideout, demanding to know what it means. Malcolm seems genuinely fearful of whatever it is that attacked him and his mutts.

Bitten_gallery_201Recap_20.jpg
142011

We knew it! The two women appear to be witches, and one of them seems to be channeling a third, named "Savannah." She asks "Did you find the wolf?" and mentions someone called "Aleister," who doesn't sound like a very nice person. She then asks if they can hear "the screams" ...

Bitten_gallery_201Recap_21.jpg
142016

... which might very well be coming from Rachel, who's strapped to a gurney in some horrible-looking lab as some unknown figure plunges a giant needle into her pregnant belly. Gah!
