Here's Robert's Round 1 final look. Neville thought that it was a smart idea to cut the prosthetic to make it feel like the model had fish lips. Rick enjoyed the feather on the top of the model’s head which was made to look like a fin. But Rick also commented that there was a bit of a buckle in the cowl for the head.

Here's Corrine's eel for the human fish hybrid challenge. Rick said that she should have added a few more stripes to the model’s face. Ve commented on Corrine’s time management - no bueno.

Check out Alana's take on the porcupine puffer fish. Neville commented that Alana was smart not to use a cowl because it gave her more time to paint and her painting skills are impressive. The one thing Neville didn’t like were the character’s ears, which he said were a bit Elfin. Rick thinks that the scales on the neck made the model look a little more masculine.

Here stands Scott's take on the Austrailian Harlequin Tusk. Rick questions the placement of the mustache and beard aspects on the model’s face. Ve says that these features made the model look a bit masculine. Neville said that the paint job could have benefited from a good gloss.

And then there were three - well, actually six. But basically, after Robert was eliminated Scott, Alana and Corrine posed with their Round 2 final looks.

Here's a guy you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley - Alana's demon. Rick was confused about the paint job. He said that it didn’t hold up to the work that Alana did in Round 1. Neville says that although the word “stereotypical” is usually a bad word, he gives Alana props for having a stereotypical /spot on demon look that could read well even if someone didn’t know what the challenge was.

Rick enjoyed the makeup up close, for Scott's final look, but from far away he says that it read more like a witch, than a bat, which was Scott’s original intention. Both Ve and Rick enjoyed the feet on the model. Ve didn’t like the hair pieces because it made the model’s face look too small. Neville thinks that the wrinkles were over rendered.

Here's Corrine's Round 2 final look. Ve would have liked a better blend on the prosthetic. Corrine was going for an albino bat look which Rick and Ve couldn’t quite see - even when they squinted. The two judges said that it looked more like a really cool stone gargoyle.

For Round 3, the artists were instructed to take one of the spells from the world of Harry Potter and create a makeup of the spell backfiring on a Hogwarts student.

For Alana's final look, Neville and Ve commented that it would have been a better choice for her to use the right appliance - i.e. a rope. Ve wishes that Alana would have taken the rope and embedded it in the makeup, wrapping it around the model’s whole head. But Alana's full body of work was impressive enough to score her the top spot and 10,000 dollars. Huzzah!

Corrine is a big Harry Potter fan, but Ve says that since she personally doesn't know much about the franchise, she didn’t see “garden nom”, and the trick is to make a makeup that reads clearly to all audiences. Rick agrees with Ve but he did appreciate how thorough Corrine’s application is.
