The sex was to die for. And then Sabine died. Almost.
Johnny and D’avin bring Sabine’s still-breathing body on board Lucy, in the hopes that they can resuscitate her. They do.
To elicit answers from Sabine, a decided Six Agent, Dutch turns up the heat. And by heat, we mean electroshock.
The team later takes Sabine to Turin and Sabine very quickly extricates herself from this high-tech interrogation situation, using her Level Six fighting tactics.
And that’s the end of that guy.
Turns out, the interrogator meant to interrogate Sabine was actually planning on killing her. A Six as well, he was looking to keep Sabine quiet by stabbing her in the head with a Dreadnaught, the only device that can be used to kill Level Sixes.
It’s not a séance. Sabine is channeling D’avin’s ability to interact with the plasma, allowing him to flip through a rolodex of all the Level Six agents…so the team can go kill them.
D’avin and Sabine are transported to a wintry forest, where sits a mysterious cube protected by a force field. Yeah, it’s weird.
Johnny threatens to arrest former Company employee Miss Semback with his newly issued warrant unless she coughs up some answers about that dang wall.
While digging for clues in Sabine’s apartment, Dutch is intercepted by a Black Root lieutenant. Sabine isn’t just a Level Six after all, but a Black Root agent tasked with weaseling her way into the killjoy clan…and then killing them.
Using the very same device Phil attempted to use on Sabine, Dutch does away with her Black Root assailant.
Johnny breaks into Spring Hill, attempting to extract more data about the wall from Jelco’s office. He ends up getting tranquilized and detained. No good deed goes untranquilized.
So D’avin, a little seduced by Sabine, sprung her of her destructo-collar, and set her free. But not before he stuck a tracking device on her back.
Dutch tracks down Sabine at the very same place where she and D’avin mind-tripped to when they were taking their joint bath.
And Sabine gets eighty-sixed.
Inside Khylen’s safe house, the cube structure in the forest, was this: a kill box. Inside is the name Aneela — could it be the other Dutch?
