The Lion, the Witch & the Warlord: Season 3, Episode 4

Johnny is inducted into Level 5 RAC…The ceremony takes place at Pree's bar, and includes drinking and a punch to the gut. There's hazing in the future it turns out.

Celebrations are cut short when some rando Killjoys arrive with a warrant for Johnny's arrest. Crime: the murder of Delle Seyah.

She's obviously still alive, and playing "make the ripple" with Aneela on her death ship. What's in the indoor pond? A vat of the green plasma. Aneela's using it to further her mysterious plot (that involves wreaking revenge on Dutch), and Delle Seyah's interest is definitely piqued.

To protect Johnny, Pree takes him and Dutch to Oron, a planet whose race the Ferran he once ruled. He has not been so graciously welcomed.

D'avin finds some old security footage of Delle Seyah very much alive, albeit nursing a gunshot wound she got from Johnny, which he hopes will exonerate his brother. It doesn't. RAC wants living proof.

Lachlan, the new acting ruler, was once Pree's lover, and is still feeling the spurn of Pree's departure. Out of spite, he makes Johnny and Dutch battle for Pree's life.

The first of three trials is a knife fight. Dutch got that knife play down.

The second trial is an engineering one: to reassemble a gun in working order. Johnny takes that smoking cake.

The third…the third is a set up. Dutch and Johnny are knocked unconscious by nerve gas.

When they wake up, they find themselves hog-tied and ready for RAC retrieval. Cue Gared!

Meanwhile on Lucy, Zeph is running some experiments on D'avin. After giving him a hallucinogenic cocktail and hypnotizing him, D'avin is able to transcend spacetime to arrive on…

Aneela's ship! Aneela, of the same stock as D'avin, is able to see D'avin, but the very much alive Delle Seyah cannot. But that's enough proof for D'avin to void Johnny's arrest warrant.

Despite D'Avin getting the warrant voided, Gared, the Killjoys assigned to get Johnny, tracks him and stores Johnny up in a container ready for shipping when Dutch breaks free of her bonds. Incidentally, Pree has made a deal with Lachlan (likely involving a hook-up but Pree will never kiss and tell...;) to set them all free.

And Zeph, wonder woman Zeph, is able to open the Remnant using a combination of the plasma and D'avin's blood. But will she tell the others the good news?
