We’ve all thought about it, but after being sent back from Valhalla, Kenzi gets to live the actual real-world nightmare of waking up buried in her own casket.
Luckily, Kenzi has Lauren and Dyson - the kind of friends who will dig up her grave and rescue her when that becomes necessary.
Bo, meanwhile, arrives in a new after-realm (Tartaris) and sets off into a giant maze to look for her father.
Someone or something, or possibly Bo tries to get a message to Kenzi and Lauren using the old “write the word ‘help’ in steam” trick.
Stacy the Valkyrie is here to pick up a soul of someone close to Bo. Dyson fools her into thinking he’s on her side.
A goblin turns up to try and confuse Bo on her way through the maze, which turns out to be a place called the “walls of doubt.”
Trick gives Kenzi a giant Ouija board to help conjure the spirits that she thinks is Bo asking for help.
Tamsin arrives at the Dal to challenge Stacy, just as Stacy makes off with Dyson’s phone.
The bird-girl turns out to be Persephone, who tells Bo that her real father is none other than the King of the Underworld himself – Hades. Bo learns where she was born – Hell itself.
As Bo steals the candle keeping Persephone in the underworld, she realizes it’s time to flee and go home. Didn't get to meet her daddy, though.
As Bo makes it out of Valhalla with candle in tow, Dyson awaits her, holding open the doors.
After Lauren and Kenzi defeat whatever evil spirit was living in the divination board, they’re disrupted by Stacy, who’s here to take Lauren's soul to Valhalla (remember, once Kenzi left, the Valkyries demanded another soul of someone Bo loved).
Tamsin arrives and makes fun of Stacy’s hair, which surprisingly? That works and Stacy leaves, not taking Lauren's soul.
The team is assembled and having dinner around the table with some wine, where Dyson gives Hale’s inheritance to Kenzi.
Then after dinner, Kenzi tells Bo that she can’t continue living in the world of Fae. She has to try something new and get away from all of this.
Finally, as Bo lights the candle she promised Persephone she'd light for her, there is this mystery woman, who finds it lit in her hands. Things in the elevator are about to get real!
