Baron Vaughn
Actor and comedian Baron Vaughn is the host of SYFY's new late-night show, SYFY WIRE's: The Great Debate. No stranger to a debate stage, Vaughn hosted SYFY WIRE's: The Great Debate live panel at New York Comic Con in 2019 and was a panelist at SXSW's showdown that same year.
Vaughn graduated from Boston University's theatre program and immediately went on to the Williamstown Theatre Festival. He was cast in Drowning Crow with Alfre Woodard on Broadway. He was also featured in Damn Yankees at the New York City Center with Jane Krakowski and Sean Hayes. As a comedian, Vaughn has toured all over the country performing at festivals, clubs and theaters. He has been featured on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and twice on Conan. He has had a half-hour special on Comedy Central, and co-hosted the Comedy Central stand-up series, New Negroes, with musician Open Mike Eagle. His comedy album, Raised by Cable, is available on iTunes.
