Cassie Scerbo

Born in Long Island, New York, Scerbo is both a talented actress and singer-songwriter. Her breakthrough came in 2007 when she starred in Universal Pictures’ fourth installment of the “Bring It On” franchise, titled “Bring It On: In It To Win It,” an ABC Family original movie.  Scerbo next starred in the 2008 comedy “Soccer Mom,” which provided her an opportunity to showcase her natural comedic timing. ABC Family next sought out Scerbo for the original drama “Make It or Break It.” Playing Lauren Tanner, an aspiring Olympic gymnast, Scerbo went through an extensive training program to prepare for the role. The successful series ran for three seasons. In July 2013, Cassie starred in Syfy’s “Sharknado,” which earned her a People’s Choice Award nomination. Scerbo reprised her role as Nova Clarke in 2015’s Sharknado: Oh Hell No! Scerbo can most recently be seen in the indie thriller “Perfect Soulmate” and Lifetime film “My Life as a Dead Girl,” as well as the Freeform series “Baby Daddy” and MTV’s “Mary + Jane.”
