Agnetha continues to try to get her sons, the Johnson boys, to warm up to her. A dinner date with her youngest, Axl, goes rather well ... despite the fact that she spent most of Season One trying to kill him.
Ty was supposed to be at dinner, too, but he was, uh, detained.
Mike doesn't trust Agnetha and tries to get Ty to promise that he won't have any contact with her. Ty admits that he's warming up to the idea of Agnetha being their mother ... as "warm" as Ty can be, anyway.
Meanwhile, Axl is trying to be a better Man in order to be a better God, which he believes involves learning how to be a builder ... at a lecture that ends up being given by Colin.
Agnetha's having a hard time getting through to Ty as her daughter-in-law is rather, er, protective about her husband ...
... so she tries a different tactic: sending Anders' assistant and Ty's true love Dawn home to 'sample' some bottles of wine for an upcoming ad campaign.
After the lecture, Colin scores some trust points with Axl by quoting Kvasir's "be a Man/become a God" bit of wisdom ... though we're not sure that course of action should involve going to a bar with Loki himself.
Yep, apparently ill-advised decadence ensued, as Axl wakes up the next morning with no memory of this lovely lady preparing to exit his bedroom.
Using what Zeb calls his "Odin mind powers," Axl manages to conjure memories of meeting Brianna in the bar. Think she's in league with Colin? Please.
Meanwhile, Anders is still in Norway and struggling with the local room service as he calls Ty and tells him to go find out what's wrong with what Agnetha has described as a drunken, crying Dawn.
Colin's making an interesting phone call, too, as he tells Axl that his dalliance with Brianna was apparently not exactly consensual. He advises Axl to find a lawyer who can defend the upcoming rape charges.
Ty rushes to Dawn's apartment to find her a bit sloshed but in no way hysterical and/or suicidal. These two obviously still have a thing for each other.
Mike confronts Colin at the bar (which Colin owns -- of course he does) about these rape charges against Axl. Colin admits it was all a set-up -- revenge for Axl laughing in his face when he offered him help on his Frigg quest in Episode One.
Yep, Brianna and Colin are definitely in cahoots. Oh, Loki!
There's still the matter of Axl's $3,000 tab from the night at the bar. Colin says the debt will disappear and Mike can even have the keys to the bar ... if he can retrieve them from Colin's ring of fire.
Mike manages to get the keys, and the bar is his. His days of crashing at Axl and Zeb's flat appear to be coming to an end.
Meanwhile, Ty and Eva continue to get freaky with a bit of hot poker branding. "TE" -- how romantic!
Finally, Gaia's beau Jacob shows up at Axl and Zeb's pad frantically looking for their former flatmate. Axl, showing off Odin-like strength, shows him the door.
Gaia was there after all, hiding in the closet. She asks for her old room back, to the delight of her two pals. It's a good thing Mike's apparently moving out!
