Anders has been back from Norway for all of a few hours and he's already berating his family: Axl for giving up the Frigg quest, Mike for sleeping with the enemy (Michele) and all of them for Agnetha's demise.
Mike speaks for all of them as he delivers a brotherly right hook to Anders' mug.
Axl's sick. Like, really sick. He fails to gain the sympathy of his flatmates ... at least at first.
Whatever Anders brought back from Norway is considered a biohazard and is being held at MAF (Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry). Anders is surprised to discover that his Godly powers of persuasion don't seem to work on Shona, the MAF receptionist.
Much to his delight, Ty seems to be experiencing a decline in his God powers, too: he can feel warmth and actually taste food, like Ingrid's super-spicy curry.
Meanwhile, Stacey reveals her plans to buy the courier company she works for. Per Agnetha's will, Mike says he'll fund the endeavor ... but Anders probably won't like it.
Anders finally reveals the top-secret mission he was on for Agnetha in Norway: to retrieve a branch from Yggdrasil, the Tree of Life. Agnetha unfortunately burned in a forest fire before being able to tell Anders the 'why' of it.
Meanwhile, Ty is taking advantage of his break from being 'Mister Frosty' by trying to reignite his romance with Dawn.
Stacey agrees to use her courier connections to help Anders infiltrate MAF and retrieve the quarantined Yggdrasil branch ... if Anders agrees to Mike giving her the money to buy her company. It's a deal.
Unfortunately, 'the Stick' doesn't come with instructions, so the gang hopes that simple physical contact might do the trick for the now-hospitalized Axl.
After touching the Stick, Michele is able to do this with her finger on Axl's forehead. What does it mean?
Stacey, whose handmaiden instincts cannot be denied, checks in on the ever-aging Olaf, who charms her by actually appreciating her constant need to serve.
Afraid that this break from his God powers will only be temporary, Ty tells Dawn that they should just be friends. After a series of wonderful dates, she is understandably disappointed.
Temporary, indeed - a kiss on the forehead from Gaia and Axl appears to be much better. No one is happier about the sudden turn of events than Odin's trusty Freki.
Olaf celebrates his latest 'rebirth' with Stacey the way Gods do.
