Season 1: Recap
4 of 23The Revenants can’t leave town and escape Wynonna’s gun because of something called the Ghost River Triangle, which borders the town. If they step foot outside of City lines they go up in flames. Also, when Wynonna shoots them in the forehead - because that’s the only way to take a Revenant down - they also go up in flames. So basically, they’re damn if they do and they’re damned if they don’t. Damn.

Season 1: Recap
12 of 23In addition to the Revenants and their leader Bobo, Wynonna also has a enemy in one Doc Holliday. Yes, THAT Doc Holliday, as in her great-granddaddy’s bff. Doc still looks so young because he moisturizes and also because he made a deal with the Stone Witch who promised him eternal life, but she also locked him in a well for a way long time so Doc hates the Stone Witch plenty.

Season 1: Recap
14 of 23So, back to the Stone Witch. She comes to town looking for the bones of her two son’s bones so that she can resurrect them. She successfully brings back one son from the dead with some heinous deformities and Bobo later re-kills this son. Waverly smashes the skull bone of the other son, which pisses off the Stone Witch, naturally, but she’s not able to do much about it. With the help of Wynonna, Doc buries the Stone Witch in a salt desert, rendering her powerless.

Season 1: Recap
16 of 23Dolls gives Wynonna a pep talk but no sooner than she starts to come into her own as heir - a plot twist! Her thought to be dead sister, Willa, is not so dead at all. Turns out she was hold up in a cult and had been brainwashed so she had no recollection of her past.

Season 1: Recap
19 of 23Apparently brainwashing is a thing with Willa, because she’s secretly in love with Earp family nemesis Bobo Del Ray and agrees to walk with him willingly across the Ghost River Threshold, which is the only way a Revenant can safely leave Purgatory without going up in smoke - with the willing heir of the Earp family.

But luckily, Wynonna gets the jump on her sister, placing a dummy Peacemaker in Willa’s bag when she wasn’t looking, and her Revenant boyfriend. Wynonna takes Bobo down and with a heavy heart, she kills her turncoat sister, Willa too.

Season 1: Recap
21 of 23Amid all the Earp vs. Earp chaos, Dolls gets a visit from his super mean boss who tosses him in Black Badge jail for doing a lousy job on his Purgatory assignment. Also? She hates Purgatory and its dirty little secrets and wants the whole town to be nuked. Eeeeps!

Season 1: Recap
23 of 23Before Bobo was killed, he left Waverly with this nugget of information - she’s not a real Earp! Oh Snap! In the final scene of the episode, we see America’s favorite little sister pull a gun on Wynonna and Doc. Hopefully Doc, was quicker to the draw! But we’ll have to wait for Season 2 to find out.
