To prove to Wynonna he’s the real deal, Doc Holliday performs all manner of sharp shooting tricks for her. This one’s called “pinky in the pistol.”
Meanwhile in town, a Revenant has claimed the life of a Megan Lynchford and wrote “Repent Sinners” in blood on a mirror. Maybe it was trying to leave a message?
To get to the bottom of things, Wynonna and Dolls meet with Bobo del Ray in the trailer park. It’s pretty much like a Burning Man reunion party.
In the side mirror of the police car, Wynonna sees the reflection of a barber Revenant threatening her with a razor blade. But when she gets out of the car to apprehend him, he’s vanished. Even without a tip!
Wynonna and Dolls interview Sarah Parker, who was the last person Megan spoke to before she died. Megan was begging Sarah’s forgiveness for having killed her father in a hit-and-run back when they were both in high school.
While tracking down a fellow bar patron in the bathroom, Doc comes across the barber Revenant’s calling card…as well as the barber Revenant. Doc’s got to stop drinking so much.
Dolls interrogates Doc for answers, which Doc is very good at not giving. Tempers flare, fists slam, eyebrows raise, and coffee goes stale.
After claiming another victim, the barber threatens Wynonna with the same fate unless she can earn the forgiveness of everyone she’s ever hurt and she has to do it in just two hour's time!
At the Black Badge headquarters, Dolls finishes setting up the ritual to catch the barber out of his mirror-hiding place. Looks like the Black Badge division has a history of dabbling in the black arts.
While invoking the spirits of the underworld, one of them actually, literally, sweeps Dolls off his feet.
The ritual successfully transmogrifies the barber, allowing Wynonna to shoot him down.
But the shoot-out at Black Badge Headquarters didn't work. The barber, using the reflective surface of water to transport himself, comes flying out of Big Deep Lake like he’s in a SeaWorld act.
The barber surprises Wynonna, and gets his blade dangerously close to her throat.
This is going to be a very close shave.
After apologizing to Waverly for becoming the chosen one instead of her, Wynonna breaks the spell and gets the better of the barber. If he had a unibrow, Wynonna’s going to make sure he won’t anymore.
