Adios, Muchachos: Season 2, Episode 13

Team Z is still trapped in La Reina’s compound south of the border, waiting to see if the 'vaccine' will turn all the Zeros into zombies that Murphy can control. Problem is Vasquez is set to be the first to be injected ... that is, until Roberta intervenes.

La Reina orders Dr. Kurian to inject himself first so that she can make sure the vaccine works (and isn't a trick). Afterwards, a zombie bites him and he doesn't turn ... looks like the stuff works! For now, anyway ...

Everyone in La Reina's gang gets injections, which makes them all a little bit woozy ... and La Reina demands one for Roberta, too. Murphy intervenes and saves Roberta from the 'vaccine.'

La Reina allows Escorpion to beat up Vasquez a bit more. Vasquez wants nothing more than to kill Escorpion because Escorpion shot his wife and daughter. This is a real battle for the ages.

La Reina and Roberta take a moment to toast The New World and The End of the Apocalypse.

Murphy quoting Urkel is everything: "Did I do that?" Also, Dr. Kurian is completely under Murphy's control and looks like Uncle Fester. But when Roberta finds out that Murphy is starting a blend-army, she is FURIOUS.

Escorpion puts Vasquez in a Zombie Maiden. Which is a pretty serious kind of torture device.

Meanwhile, Doc still has his beard in curls. And it is amazing.

La Reina is starting to look, um ... not great. She's under the control of Murphy, who saves Roberta's life after Escorpion accuses her of treachery by forcing La Reina to release her. Roberta goes off to find Vasquez.

Then everyone who's gotten an injection suddenly comes after Murphy. Heh heh ... it turns out he can only control his 'army' to a certain extent. They definitely want Murphy's blood (and probably brains) more than they want anything else.

Roberta and the gang rescue Vasquez and run for the exit, leaving behind Escorpion in the Zombie Maiden.

Dr. Kurian is decapitated by Roberta and is now just a talking head. La Reina picks him up and goes in hot pursuit of Team Z.

The team decides to unleash the real zombies to battle the blended zombies. Murphy can still control the real zombies, see, so he gets them to break into the compound. It's an insane plan, but …

... it works, and the team escapes the compound.

Quick piece of unfinished business: After an intense round of fisticuffs, Vasquez tosses Escorpion down the zombie-hole.

And the team escapes in a fleet of gorgeous El Caminos. YES! THIS!

As the team heads into California, La Reina retrieves the head of Dr. Kurian from the bloody rubble. We haven't seen the last of these two.
