Cassandra, who was once known as Sunshine, remembers her mysterious past. Which basically involved starting a faux seduction of horny apocalypse survivors, and then letting her abusive, psycho boyfriend come take them away.
The team, riding into Philadelphia, somehow recovers the Liberty Bell, which was lying on the back of a flatbed.
It’s a lonely life up north for Citizen Z, who has nothing to do but cook stuff for his dog.
This is the “Family” – where Cassandra came from. They eat an unpleasant meat and you’re welcome to guess what it is.
This is the mother of the “Family.” There’s something really wrong with her. Besides whatever it is they’re all eating. (Again, any guesses?)
Addy is kidnapped by the "Family."
Cassandra finally cracks and tells the team what it is that the “family” is eating - people! Also, there are apparently iPads after the world ends.
Addy realizes they're not eating dead people - they're eating LIVE people. The "Family" has a storage locker where they've got people strung up, whose body parts they are cutting off and serving up for dinner.
As the team comes to rescue Addy, Tobias (Cassandra's psycho ex) has an entirely different idea about what’s going to happen to her. Also, Addy on her outfit: "I look like a post-apocalyptic stripper."
Charles prepares to signal 10K to shoot from his vantage point on the hill in the quest to rescue Addy.
After rescuing Addy, the team debates whether to go back for Cassandra, who traded herself for Addy.
Doc is sent in as bait to try and free Cassandra, who is back to the whole "seducing men only for her boyfriend to capture (and eat) them" beat. Doc looks great, right?
Ah, the old tazer to the mouth trick. It’s a classic. That's enough to give Cassandra a chance to escape.
A mob of zombies enters the camp as the survivors escape. This time the "Family" is the meal.
Both girls are safely back in the truck as the team drives west in hopes of securing a cure.
