As bombs go off all over the world, Doc, Roberta and 10K try to outrun the nuclear fallout by taking cover in a tunnel. Doc's been shot in the shoulder, nobody knows where Cassandra or Murphy have gone, and Mac and Addy have been out of the picture for a while now.

10K, Doc and Roberta are stunned by the oddly beautiful image of ash falling from the sky. At first, Doc thinks it's snow. If only!

Meanwhile, Citizen Z survived the nuke because the Northern Lights' station defense system blew the missile up before it could make landfall. However, the heat blast thawed frozen zombies out and they've overrun the station. He sends an emergency broadcast telling the world to be on the lookout for Murphy ... and, as an extra incentive, adds that the CDC will hand out cures and large bounties for safe delivery.

Mack and Addy! Together again, now that the Sisters of Mercy camp has been burned down and the zombie bear is on the loose. Off they go into the unknown on Mack's ATV.

Murphy, meanwhile, is doing okay. Stripped of his decaying skin and now a shiny silver, he's got his posse of zombies and they've all gone shopping at a thrift store.

Murphy meets up with Cassandra, who's now kind of a half-human/half-zombie. He gives her a quick makeover and they head off into the wilds of Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Meanwhile, Roberta prepares to go off and find help for the wounded Doc.

Mack and Addy try to send a signal to the world but end up hearing that countries all over the world are looking for Murphy. Also, there's a strange numerical code that Addy has picked up from her ham radio, repeating over and over ...

Just before going through with giving herself mercy, Roberta hears a young girl crying in the woods and finds a reason to live again. Poor Roberta -- she's been through so much and asks for so little.

Cassandra is now officially Murphy's sidekick. They while away the hours in a bizarre zombie strip club Murphy's concocted.

As Mack and Addy try to make their way through an abandoned car yard, they come across Doc and 10K. 10K makes short work of the Z that was giving Mack a hard time.

Roberta has a moment of real hope with the family of the young girl whose life she saved. She gets some good rest, stocks up on supplies and off she goes to meet up with Doc and 10K.

When the whole team is reunited in Murphy's grotesque strip club, Roberta demands they re-commence their journey to California.

The team is treated to a show! As one of Murphy's new zombie strippers commences with a pole dance, the gang is appropriately horrified.

Then there's this guy who shows up to take Murphy. It's not just the CDC that has a bounty out on Murphy -- lots of people want his blood.

Murphy and Cassandra escape from the Z bedlam that breaks out in the stripper club. Roberta vows to find Murphy, get him to the CDC and kill any bounty hunter that gets in her way.

And then there’s this woman. Remember her? She was the Sister of Mercy who brought Murphy pie and pleasure last season. Apparently they didn't use protection ... and their unborn progeny seems to know which road leads to Daddy.
