Before tonight's hunt, here's five things you need to know about what you'll see in the investigation of the Physick House and the team.
Ghost Hunters - Airs Wednesday, October 5 at 9/8c
During tonight’s investigation, the Ghost Hunters will be surveying the Physick House in Philadelphia and the Middletown Almshouse, along with an adjacent jail. Before it airs, here’s five things you need to know about the hunt and the team.
1. This will be TAPS eighth time investigating a location in Philadelphia. The first team hunt was in 2004 at the Eastern State Penitentiary.
2. Dr. Philip Syng Physick is known as the “Father of American Surgery” for his treatment of patients during the yellow fever epidemic in 1793. Perhaps the souls of a patient or two are still hanging around?
3. During tonight’s investigation a spirit will hurl a medical cart at a member of the team, but we’re not saying who so you’ll have to watch and see!
4. After 11 successful seasons on a television series, TAPS leader Jason Hawes still keeps a day job as a plumber because he likes it. So there’s that.
5. Although in this case, 666 would be more of a spooky number, tonight’s investigation marks The Ghost Hunters' 227th episode!
