The folks at Blastr look back on the cheese-tastic monster classic.
A little movie called Critters (no, not Gremlins, sigh) turns 30 this year, and the folks over at Blastr have conjured up 32 facts about the cheese-tastic monster classic that you simply must know.
For instance, do you remember that Lin Shaye is in the movie? She would later go on to play paranormal investigator Elise Rainier in the Insidious movies.
Billy Zane is in it, too. His future Titanic co-star, Leonardo DiCaprio, made his movie debut in Critters 3 (1991).
It's chock full of sci-fi Easter eggs, with references to E.T., Star Wars, Star Trek, Roger Corman, Ghostbusters and, uh, John Travolta.
