Miranda finds a wig in the exact colors of her exotic plant for this Greek Mythology challenge. Careful you don’t let it look like a troll doll!

KC chooses a purple and white orchid, and turns out a truly impressive fabricated petal cowl.

Derek got some cool colors in his cactus-inspired hybrid…too bad they weren’t colors featured on his chosen plant.

George didn’t quite latch on to the beauty aspect of the challenge, and is the first to go home.

Derek loves the Marvel universe and dives deep into his fanboy knowledge with this challenge.

At the last minute, Miranda highlights her time-traveling superhero with some bright greens, and gives him a symbol of his super power right on the ol’ noggin.

No wonder KC, whose makeup shop is all about horns, was drawn to the prosthetic with horns on the chin. She loves it…the judges, not so much. And she is eliminated in Round 2.

Derek uses old school materials like cotton latex and fish skin, but the scare factor is timeless.

Miranda had described her boogie man as somehow alluring, with no eyes and a creepy smile… and miraculously, she pulled it off!
