For five years, Brother Number Four tries to contact his own kind via radio, to no avail. He's about to kill himself when suddenly he receives a broadcast of the familiar Hunter clicking. A deadly movement begins.
Back in the present day, Jackson informs the ETU gang that the laundered Hunter money has been going to Sharif Amari, the warden of a military prison in Turkey. Regan, Briggs and a now hard-drinking Flynn are sent to apprehend him, hoping that he'll lead to Brother Number Four.
In 1989, Brother Number Four meets with his CIA contact: Jackson, who has no idea that this is the alien leader he'll be hunting down decades later. For now, 'Musa' is merely a Romanian freedom fighter with CIA support.
Briggs and Flynn interrogate Amari in his love nest, where he admits that 'Musa Wazari' uses his prison as a heavily fortified sanctuary. The prison's emblem of crossed swords matches the 'X' image that Regan's been seeing ... and Jackson is shocked to hear the name of his old CIA asset whose struggle he helped to arm.
Jackson orders Briggs and Flynn to evacuate without Regan. Right as Flynn insists on going back for her, they look up and see her in a helicopter with Brother Number Four! Is she his prisoner ... or has she betrayed her ETU colleagues?
