Who is this scared, caged, naked bleeding woman?
And who's this guy with the headphones glaring at her?
The fearless Regan, a top-notch operative of the ETU (Exo-Terrorism Unit), explores an abandoned factory. It might be the home of a terrorist cell.
Regan gets attacked by a half-human/half-alien thing. It's a new breed of terrorists ... from another planet!
Luckily, her colleague Briggs comes to the rescue. Briggs and Regan don't like each other very much, but that doesn't mean they don't have each other's backs when crazy aliens attack.
Meet Flynn and Abby Carroll. Flynn's an FBI agent dealing with major PTSD. Abby's his gorgeous wife. Their life is about to go all topsy-turvy.
This is Emme, their adopted daughter. She's the daughter of Flynn's slain partner. She's a bit of a handful, but really, can you blame the kid?
Meanwhile, ETU bigwig Truss Jackson and his tech wiz Jules Callaway analyze data from the cell phones recovered from the dead alien terrorists in the factory. They find photos of Flynn's wife, Abby. Uh oh ...
Abby gets paralyzed with a crazy sound-gun and kidnapped by Headphones Guy, who's now quoting Marilyn Manson (as most DJs of a certain age do at least once). His name's McCarthy, and he's got a mean streak.
Dr. Michelle James, the ETU's forensics expert, performs an alien autopsy. They may look like us on the outside, but on the inside ... that's a whole mess of weirdo biology.
Regan was boxing with this guy just a minute ago. She's got PASSION.
Flynn asks Emme if Abby had been "doing anything" that he didn't know about, and Emme shows him Abby's GPS. It seems she had recently visited a house that was off her beaten path: 1445 Quaker Ridge Road.
Flynn infiltrates the house that Abby went to the day before she was kidnapped. After finding her cage empty, he heads for the cellar, where McCarthy tells him that he'll never see his wife again.
Regan and Briggs come to the rescue and give chase, though Regan loses McCarthy and his goons in the woods.
Regan tells Flynn that he's been recruited by the ETU. How ya like that?
Jules Callaway, the ETU's tech wiz, decodes a piece of music that McCarthy received on Spotify and uncovers a manifesto by the Hunters, a notorious group of alien terrorists. They're apparently about to launch a violent revolution against humans.
Regan and Flynn try to prevent McCarthy from getting on a plane to the Middle East. He has help from Randall Slavich, a Hunter who works for airport security. They wound Slavich as McCarthy retreats into an aircraft.
The wounded Slavich tells Flynn that the Hunters are "inside the ETU," and are using him. He then commits suicide. Whoa!
McCarthy calls Regan by her first name, Allison, and tells her that he knows what's inside both of them, waiting to get out. Regan later tells Flynn and Briggs that McCarthy escaped, which seems a bit suspicious. A series full of drama is afoot!
