This week, we take a closer look at the 'Feelers,' the eyes and ears of Brother Number Four. The ETU refers to them as 'Quins' because their skin resembles that of humans infected with Harlequin-type icthyosis, a severe genetic disease in which the entire body is encased in hard plates of skin.
An ETU officer speculates that Quins might not be true Hunters but a creature grown of human and Hunter genetic material. A hybrid of trouble!
Another possibility is they're the natural offspring of Hunters in their human forms. Would McCarthy's baby have grown up to look like a Quin?
