Who's That Girl?

She's appeared multiple times on Lost Girl, but Canadian actress Alisen Down is no stranger to Syfy.

Holy Character Actress That's Been On Other Syfy Shows, Batman! We spotted a familiar face on Lost Girl last night. Everything seemed to be normal, well, normal for an episode of Lost Girl, and then Holy Orgy Trick! Trick got a surprise visit from Isabeau, who seemed adamant that she and her beloved would soon be reunited. Check it out below:

You know when you're watching a TV show and you recognize an actor, but you can't place it? That happened with Lady Isabeau until we remembered where we'd seen her before...

12 Monkeys! The actress, Alisen Down, was on this season of 12 Monkeys, as Olivia (aka "The Striking Woman"), administrator of the Red Forest Cocktail (1 part Vodka, 1 Part Cherry Juice, 2 Parts Ginger Ale, and 3 parts Nightmare for anyone who wants to know). Apart from owning the whole mysterious agent with questionable motives vibe, Alison has a voice that triggers an Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response in us so fierce, we might as well be picnicking in a sound garden. But surely that's not the only place we recognize her from. Let's travel back, way back, to the good old days of November 2014:

Bam!! Alisen was on this past season of Haven, as Janet the moody mother with a heart of mold who hated lesbians!

So basically Alisen's a triple Syfy threat. We're advocates for going quadruple and having her become the narrator for Paranormal Witness because she NAILS that whole so-calming-its-creepy voice thing so well.
