Six new SYFY Originals will premiere this Sharknado Week!
Dun dun..dun dun...dun dun...Sharknado Week begins August 12, and SYFY will be premiering six new original movies! These are the sharkiest shark movies that have ever sharked. So buckle up, strap in and prepare for the week filled with outrageous shark attacks, Sharkmares, and of course a Saint Nick Shark. Perfect. It all culminates in the 6th and final installment of Sharknado! The Last Sharknado: It's About Time on August 19 at 8/7c. Find a schedule and description of the new films below:
8/12 @ 8 PM - Deep Blue Sea 2: Carl Monroe is using bull sharks as lab rats to create a new strain of super smart drugs. But when marine conservationist and shark free diver Misty Calhoun is invited to the remote, sea-based lab to sign off on the project, she discovers Monroe has bio-engineered a shiver of highly intelligent, super-aggressive bull sharks who have escape – and revenge – on their minds.
8/13 @ 9 PM - Megalodon: A military vessel on the search for an unidentified submersible finds themselves face to face with a giant shark, forced to use only what they have on board to defend themselves from the monstrous beast.
8/14 @ 9 PM - Santa Jaws: Trying to survive the family Christmas, Cody makes a wish to just 'be alone,' which ends up backfiring, when a shark manifests and kills his entire family.
8/15 @ 9 PM - Frenzy: After a plane crash a woman must survive a pack of killer sharks.
8/16 @ 9 PM - Nightmare Shark: A group of shark-attack survivors are hunted by a supernatural shark that haunts their dreams.
8/18 @ 9 PM - 6-headed Shark Attack: What is supposed to be a marriage boot camp on a remote island turns into the ultimate test for survival when a 6-headed shark starts attacking the beach. Trapped with minimal weapons they try to fight of the shark, but quickly discover that no one is safe in the water, or on land.
The best part of this shark attack is that it ends well....with the premiere of The Last Sharknado: It's About Time!! The Last Sharknado will premiere on August 19th at 10 PM! Check out the trailer now!
In addition to the new originals, SYFY will be playing your favorite shark films all week, so tune on in; the water's warm.
