I <3 Rachel Maddow

Whether or not you agree with Rachel Maddowâs politics, youâd best accept that sheâs one of the smartest people on TV right now. And she is also a woman of remarkable taste, which she made very clear in a segment last night (Feb. 5, 2014). She debunked the Atlanta snow conspiracy in a pretty funny bit, and gave Your Humble Host a shout-out, using a part of my own snowspiracy debunking video:

Yay! My kitchen was on national TV!

I met Ms. Maddow a few years ago here in Boulder, Colo., at the annual Conference on World Affairs. At a party I found myself in a circle of people with her, and she made a political comment. I in turn made a âWobbliesâ joke, and she looked at me for a moment (I suspect in disbelief) and then laughed, which made me pretty happy. Sheâs cool.
