Objects in Space 2/3/19: I do not stand by in the presence of evil

By Carly Lane

Have you watched something recently that left you absolutely gobsmacked by how bonkers bananas it was? That was me, today, with Netflix's latest true-crime documentary, Addicted at First Sight. Don't read the reviews or spoil yourself; just trust me when I say this thing needs to be watched to be believed.

So, depending on who you talk to, there's some kind of big sports game on today? It might be a big deal? I don't know; I'm just here for the snacks.

And, if you need something to read between watching all those fun commercials, we've rounded up some fun links!

- Alita: Battle Angel is a worldbuilding triumph and a storytelling failure. (The Verge)
- What the Middle Ages can teach us about Star Wars’ ancient Jedi texts. (Forbes)
- The Criterion Channel emerges to fill the FilmStruck void, but is it enough? (Forbes)
- Netflix’s Velvet Buzzsaw is an art-world satire disguised as a thriller. (Slate)
