Star Wars Prequel Stars Jake Lloyd and Daniel Logan Share Galactic Reunion
Jake Lloyd and Daniel Logan—who respectively played the young versions of Anakin Skywalker and Boba Fett in the Star Wars prequel films written and directed by George Lucas—recently reunited for a day of fun.
If you happened to feel a positive ripple through the Force over the weekend, it may have something to do with a reunion between Jake Lloyd and Daniel Logan, who respectively played the young versions of Anakin Skywalker and Boba Fett in the Star Wars prequel trilogy.
Logan shared an image of the galactic meeting of the minds on his Instagram account Jan. 18, writing: "Just spent the day with my brother." He also included the hashtags #jakelloyd #anakin #skywalker #starwars #family.
Interestingly, the two actors never shared the screen in the George Lucas saga set decades before the events of A New Hope. Appearing at GalaxyCon Richmond in early 2025, Logan recalled how they became friends while attending fan conventions together.
“When I did my very first convention, Celebration II, they were so worried about me that I had these eight bodyguards that surrounded me, and I walked in the middle of them, and they would protect me," he said. "And I didn’t understand what was going on. And meeting Jake, we actually became really close friends and traveled the world together.”
Lloyd, of course, only appeared in Episode I - The Phantom Menace, which chronicled how Anakin left his life as a slave on Tatooine to become a member of the Jedi Order. Logan, meanwhile, popped up in Episode II - Attack of the Clones, where he was introduced as the petulant clone son of soon-to-be-headless bounty hunter, Jango Fett (Temuera Morrison).

Lloyd, who also played Arnold Schwarzenegger's Turbo Man-obsessed son in Jingle All The Way, officially retired from acting and public appearances in the late 2000s due to a growing struggle with schizophrenia. Contrary to popular belief, the former child star did not retreat from the spotlight over negative backlash to his performance in The Phantom Menace.
“I protected him from the backlash,” his mother Lisa clarified in 2024 (via Variety). “He was just riding his bike outside, playing with his friends. He didn’t know. He didn’t care. Everybody makes such a big deal about that. And it’s rather annoying to me because Jake was a little kid when that came out, and he didn’t really feel all that stuff because I didn’t let him online."
Logan, on the other hand, has remained an actor, returning to the galaxy far, far away in animated projects like Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
