Twitter Trek, Part 2: The Math of Khan

As we saw in Part 1, I somehow got myself entangled in a Twitter conversation with William Shatner. When it ended I had a pretty good laugh, and a decent story. Little did I know a few hours later it would pick up again.

As before, the conversation split off into multiple threads, so I used Storify to parse out the relevant bits, which are below. As background, not long after I storified Part 1, Bobak Ferdowsi did as well, including his side of it. Shatner jumped in to make fun of Ferdowsi, and that's where we pick this story up again.
