Happy Valentine's Day From The Magicians

Royalty may have changed Quentin's self-image, but it certainly hasn't changed how Penny feels about his socially-maladjusted Brakebills classmate. We're still rooting for these two to find some common ground, but acknowledge it probably won't be over T. Swift.

In Season 2 we've come to know a different side of The Beast. Sure, he's not going to win friend of the year, but at least he's singing instead of plucking out eyeballs.

These besties make life worth living.

... well, if that's the case than Julia and The Beast are attached at the hip, summered on the cape together between 2008 and 2012, and share clothing (even though they aren't the same size, it makes them feel more connected to one another). 

For those of us who may have a difficult time finding a valentine to call our own, there are always other places to find comfort.
