SmackDown kicked off with Seth Rollins singing his own praises and reflecting on his upcoming match against John Cena at SummerSlam. Both Cesaro and Neville attempted to silence The Architect, though Rollins teamed up with Kevin Owens to lay them flat; it was then announced that the four Superstars would square off in a Tag Team Match as the night's main event.
Total Divas Drama was provided by Charlotte as she made Naomi tap out to a Figure Eight; Roman Reigns defeated Luke Harper via disqualification after interference from Bray Wyatt; The Prime Time Players defeated Big E & Xavier Woods of The New Day; and Seth Rollins & Kevin Owens were victorious over Cesaro & Neville.
