Sheamus defeated Dean Ambrose, Neville overcame Adam Rose and Seth Rollins emerged victorious over Cesaro.
SmackDown kicked off with Dean Ambrose and Sheamus engaging in combat, during which The Lunatic Fringe found himself suddenly surrounded by Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper, who came looking for revenge for Ambrose helping Roman Reigns defeat them at Monday's Raw. Ambrose attempted to go after Harper but was undone by Sheamus' Brogue Kick outside the ring.
Neville overcame Adam Rose via the Red Arrow, through his victory was cut short when Stardust, who's quickly becoming the arch-foe of The Man That Gravity Forgot, appeared on the TitanTron to deliver a sinister message. Rusev then defeated Kevin Owens via count-out when his opponent walked away from the match entirely, and Total Divas Drama was provided by The Bella Twins, who defeated Naomi & Sasha Banks of Team B.A.D.
The night's main event had Seth Rollins emerging victorious over Cesaro as he hurled him into the steel ring post and finished him off with the Pedigree.
