This week's SmackDown kicked off with an exciting (and arguably inevitable) announcement from Daniel Bryan: he'll be participating in the ever-escalating Ladder Match at WrestleMania, vying for the Intercontinental Championship title. This resulted in current titleholder Bad News Barrett trying to once again take possession of his trophy, leading to an all-out brawl between Bryan, Dolph Ziggler and Dean Ambrose against Barrett, Luke Harper and Stardust.

The night just got bigger with an Eight-Man Tag Team Match, with Tyson Kidd, Cesaro & Los Matadores emerging victorious against Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods & The Usos. The Miz also proved to be no match against Ryback, with The Awesome One being thoroughly Shell Shocked by The Big Guy.

Mark Henry made a surprise return as he confronted Roman Reigns, claiming The Big Dog stood no chance against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. Reigns ended up not joining Henry's Hall of Pain as he delivered a Superman Punch and Spear upon The World's Strongest Man.

Total Divas Drama was provided by Paige & AJ Lee continuing their uneasy BFF-ness as they defeated Cameron & Summer Rae. After watching the match with the announce team, the Bella Twins taunted their WrestleMania 31 opponents, which led to a scuffle between Paige and Nikki Bella.

The evening ended with a Six-Man Tag Team Match, with Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler & Dean Ambrose defeating Bad News Barrett, Luke Harper & Stardust. The victory turned somewhat sour after The Showoff and The Lunatic Fringe didn't take too kindly to Bryan attracting all the glory, with both Superstars referring to The "Yes!" Man as a "turd." It'll be every man for himself at the Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match!
