Tyson Kidd bested Kofi Kingston and Roman Reigns defeated Kane in an epic, anything-goes showdown.
SmackDown kicked off with an intense face-off between former pals Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns, with Reigns none too happy about the Dirty Deeds Ambrose inflicted on him at Monday's Raw. They came to a semi-amiable agreement that it's every man for himself at the Fatal 4-Way Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Title at WWE Payback, after which Kane showed up and announced that Ambrose would take on Sheamus right then and there.
The Lunatic Fringe defeated the Celtic Warrior, after which Seth Rollins defeated Ryback. Ryback's defeat was arguably at least partially due to being attacked by Bray Wyatt right before the match.
Other matches saw Tyson Kidd besting Kofi Kingston and Neville emerging victorious over Bo Dallas. The evening's main event had Roman Reigns defeating Kane via both Superman Punch and Spear — their anything-goes showdown featured steel steps, Kendo sticks and pretty much anything in sight!
