WARNING: If you don't want to know what happened in this episode, don't read this photo recap!
Pacifica is in crisis -- under attack all through the enclave and at the library from a ton of bombings and no one knows the source. What is happening?
Just like the attack in Altura, these bombings are followed up by a fresh wave of attacking Zs. The urgent fight for survival does make for some cool coordinated fighting…
Doc helps a bombing victim as he transitions to a talker. And he's got some talking to do -- he seems to think talkers are behind the explosions, using suicide bomber vests.
CZ and Kaya search frantically for their son among the dust and rubble. Just a small army of Zs to fight and no clue where he's hiding. No problem.
The bombing of the library means human history is being erased. Books -- filled with stories of nation building and so much more -- are all gone. George is devastated. (And she's having to mercy a LOT of friends.)
Doc is frantically -- and carefully? -- fighting the suicide bomber vest Z. He lures him down a hall where he finds CZ and Kaya and also comes up with an ingenious plan to get out of this one alive. (It involves hammers, calling out "Here, Zombie, Zombie," and prying open a very heavy door.)
Success! JayZ and Nana are found safe and alive for CZ and Kaya.
After Alturan-based mercenaries arrive to take humans to safety, Warren encourages Kaya and CZ to go with JayZ and Nana and the rest of the humans. They need someone on the inside to find out what is going on. Who is behind these bombings? Talkers and injured are not invited, and Pacifica is out of biscuits.
Meanwhile, 10K saw some suspicious goings-on in Altura and went to investigate. He hides in the back of a truck when he hears footsteps. The truck is loaded up with goods and sent on its way. The goods: Lots and lots of hungry Zs. He hangs in there with the help of his hook hand.
Doc, Warren and George set off together. They can't stay in Pacifica -- now talkers only. And they don't want to go with the Alturans. Plus, it sure would be nice to find Dante and see if he has some answers. And, where the heck is Murphy?
