Accidentally frozen, pizza-deliverer Fry wakes up 1,000 years in the future. He is taken in by his sole descendant, an elderly and addled scientist who owns a small cargo delivery service. Among the other crew members are Capt. Leela, accountant Hermes, intern Amy, obnoxious robot Bender and lobsterlike moocher "Dr." Zoidberg.
Fry goes undercover working for Wong, but can’t tell Leela he is really on her side; Zapp, Kiff, and Bender try to capture the feministas; and Fry learns about the Dark Ones and the Encyclopods.
Leela joins the eco-feminists to stop Leo Wong from building a galactic mini-golf course; and Fry learns more about his newfound ability, and is charged with saving the universe.
When Farnsworth and the gang reach Momon’s Lair, an all-out battle ensues over the anti-crystal, but in the end it’s love that eventually conquers evil.
When Leela loses her cool over some redneck bullies, Farnsworth orders her to wear an electrical collar to help control her temper; and Bender loses his mind over Dungeons and Dragons.
Everybody in the Universe and Yivo live together happily, except for a skeptical Leela; and Bender misses the humans, and commands a robot pirate ship to go get them back.
