Resident Alien Season 2 Will See Harry Explore Humanity Like Never Before

No matter how inconvenient a stowaway is, if Max (Judah Prehn) had let Harry Vanderspeigle (Alan Tudyk) leave Earth unaccompanied, we wouldn’t be getting a second season of SYFY's Resident Alien. And that would be tragic.

How to Watch

Watch new episodes of Resident Alien Wednesdays at 10/9c on SYFY and next day on Peacock.

Don’t believe us? Well, luckily for you puny humans, we've got a behind-the-scenes look at Resident Alien Season 2, premiering on Jan. 26 on SYFY. In the above video, you'll get a sneak peek of what's to come — the hugs, the hijinks, and so, so much Harry.

Series creator and showrunner Chris Sheridan promises that Season 2 will see "an escalation in Harry's journey toward becoming human," no matter how much Harry wants to resist it.

Tudyk's beloved alien-turned-doctor isn't the only character running around Patience, Colorado, though. There's plenty going on with Asta Twelvetrees (Sara Tomko), who’s soaking up the summer sun (oh, yeah, it's summer now!) and trying to figure out her understandably complicated relationship with her estranged daughter Jay (Kaylayla Raine). As we saw at the end of last season, Asta's bestie D'Arcy Bloom (Alice Wetterlund) is ready to take Jay under her wing, but she’s also determined to find out what Harry is hiding...

The potential complications in Asta and D'Arcy's relationship could be helped by the addition of another friend, Deputy Liv Baker (Elizabeth Bowen), who's hanging out with the ladies in the wake of her repaired friendship with Sheriff Mike Thompson (Corey Reynolds).

Want even more insight into Season 2 before it premieres? How about a look at Linda Hamilton's return as the scheming General Eleanor Wright? Or hints as to who Alex Borstein is guest-starring as? Let Nathan Fillion's all-knowing octopus bring you comfort in the weeks leading up to Resident Alien Season 2, and keep an eye on SYFY.com for more information.

Resident Alien Season 2 premieres on SYFY on Jan. 26 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, with the premiere simulcast on USA Network.
