Chapter 2 of The Book of Boba Fett had a lot going on, and right in the middle of everything were two cameos from characters that have been waiting their turn since the franchise first began. Before now, these two could only be seen in deleted scenes, but thanks to Disney+'s new streaming Star Wars series, that is no longer the case.

**SPOILER WARNING! Spoilers for Chapter 2 of The Book of Boba Fett ahead!**

In part of a flashback to his time with the Tusken Raiders, Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) visits a small cantina where a group of Niktos are causing trouble. One couple in particular is getting annoyed, and this is exacerbated when a Nikto takes the guy's drink and chugs it. "That's not right," the guy says, coming very close to getting into a scrap.

Boba enters before things can progress, and he proceeds to wipe out the entire gang. The story naturally continues to follow him, but the couple from the cantina aren't just any two random people. Thanks to subtitles (and the end credits) we know exactly who they are: two Tatooine residents named Fixer and Camie. They are played here by Skyler Bible and Mandy Kowalski, respectively, and the characters have been around since 1977.

Fixer and Camie were originally supposed to be in Star Wars: A New Hope; they were present in scenes of Luke Skywalker hanging out at Tosche Station. Koo Stark was originally cast as Camie, and Anthony Forrest was cast as Fixer. When all of the Tosche Station scenes were cut from that film, both Camie and Fixer vanished from the movie completely. They can be seen in the deleted scenes, as well as some in-book adaptations and comic tie-ins.

They are still mentioned in various books and comics every now and then (Camie is usually referred to as having married Fixer after Luke left the planet), but they've never been seen in the flesh outside of their 1977 deleted scenes. Chapter 2 of The Book of Boba Fett changed that, making it clear that Camie and Fixer did stay on Tatooine... and that Fixer is able to stand up to a bullying Nikto when the occasion calls for it.

Camie and Fixer have finally had a Star Wars moment, and it only took 45 years.

The Book of Boba Fett streams on Disney+ every Wednesday.
