SYFY WIRE New York Comic Con

Your comprehensive guide to New York Comic Con's 2020 virtual edition

By Josh Weiss
New York Comic Con

While pop culture fans won't be able to hang out at Manhattan's Javits Center this year, that doesn't mean they won't be able to share in some New York Comic Con fun. The annual event (organized by ReedPOP) is going entirely virtual amid the coronavirus pandemic, and the stacked schedule for Oct. 8-11 is already starting to take shape. As of today, we've got a wave of panel confirmations from Hulu, AMC, Lucasfilm Publishing, Starz, FX, CBS All Access, The CW, BBC America, and more.

Unlike Comic-Con@Home, which took place in late July, NYCC 2020's events will be livestreamed, not pre-recorded. The idea is to turn "every panel into a watch party and geek out with other fans using YouTube’s Community and Live Chat features," ReedPOP said in August.

Start planning out your schedule by checking out what's on the docket thus far! All times are EST. The full lineup of events can be found here.
