Start your engines, people. The first high-octane trailer for Fast & Furious 9 has driven onto the scene with a melange of over-the-top vehicle-related stunts the franchise has become famous for.
Vin Diesel is back as Dominic Toretto, who is forced out of his quiet family life (he's straight-up Endgame-ing it) to fight Charlize Theron's Cipher once again with his usual crew. The adventure takes them all over the globe—to London, Tokyo, Central America, Edinburgh, a secret bunker in Azerbaijan, and more.
It's nice to see old faces, but the trailer also introduces us to newcomers like Jakob (The Suicide Squad's John Cena). Aside from being a master thief, skilled assassin, and high-performance driver, the character also happens to be Dominic's bloodthirsty brother!
A Pontiac Fiero with a legit engine rocket strapped to its roof is probably the least insane thing you'll see in the first footage below:
Fast Saga alums to return in this film are: Michelle Rodriguez (Letty Ortiz), Tyrese Gibson (Roman Pearce), Chris “Ludacris” Bridges (Tej Parker), Jordana Brewster (Mia Toretto), Nathalie Emmanuel (Ramsey), Helen Mirren (Magdalene Shaw), and, most surprisingly, Sung Kang (Han Lue). Han’s comeback (the character was thought to have died) is getting fans very excited and has even prompted the #JusticeforHan hashtag on Twitter.
Justin Lin, who helmed four previous entries in the action-adventure series, returns to direct this movie, which follows up last year's first spin-off project, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.

Here's the official synopsis for F&F 9:
Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto is leading a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, little Brian, but they know that danger always lurks just over their peaceful horizon. This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he’s going to save those he loves most. His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they’ve ever encountered: a man who also happens to be Dom’s forsaken brother, Jakob.
