Sydney is just a normal girl growing up. High school sucks, boys are weird, puberty is the pits, and oh, yeah, she's learning that she has a wild amount of superpowers. That's the premise of I Am Not Okay With This, which adapts Charles Forsman's graphic novel of the same name for Netflix.

The series, from The End of the F***ing World's Jonathan Entwistle and writer Christy Hall, stars up-and-coming genre queen Sophia Lillis (the It franchise, Gretel & Hansel) and dropped its first real trailer today after teasing fans with some footage of an awkward teen conversation. Now the powers are in full swing and the backstory is already pouring out.

Take a look:

Ok, so that's super strength, some sort of telekinesis, and electrical powers. And something that would cover Sydney in Evil Dead remake levels of blood, if the opening seconds are to be believed. Looks awesome.

Lillis is joined over the seven-episode season by a cast including Wyatt Oleff, Sofia Bryant, Kathleen Rose Perkins, Aidan Wojtak-Hissong, and Richard Ellis. The show is also produced by the same people behind Stranger Things, so it's no wonder that the coming-of-age adaptation has found a supernatural fit at Netflix.

I Am Not Okay With This premieres Feb. 26 on Netflix.
