The late Stan Lee set sail with a surprise cameo on Disney's Marvel Day At Sea cruise

Stan Lee

Stan Lee passed away in November, but he continues to live on in the minds of hearts of his adoring fans all over the world. He also lives on in a number of Marvel-based cameos that he filmed prior to his death.

One of those was for the Marvel Day at Sea, an all-day event that turns a Disney Cruise Line ship into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The event, which includes a live and intricately-produced stage show, is now in effect for five-day cruises from Miami to The Bahamas or Western Caribbean.

You can check out Lee's cruise cameo in this video (uncovered by ComicBook.com), where he appears at 4:10 into the performance mark to deliver a special message from the bridge. Naturally, this got a huge cheer from the audience. Even Captain Marvel (not Brie Larson, though) makes an appearance at the 22-minute mark to help the Avengers defeat Red Skull.

Check out Mr. Lee in his full sailor outfit in the tweet below. Ain't he just adorable, folks?

Lee is expected to cameo in both Captain Marvel (March 8) and Avengers: Endgame (April 26). Beyond that, we're not sure what other MCU films he may be in, but Spider-Man: Far From Home (July 5) could be a good bet. That would be very fitting for his last Marvel Studios cameo as Peter Parker is Lee's most enduring and iconic comic book creation.
