Fresh off the news that Rosario Dawson will be joining the original Zombieland cast for another whirl in director Ruben Fleischer’s undead playground, Sony Pictures has revealed the name for the long-awaited follow-up — and it has deep roots in the 2009 original.

Riffing on the “10-year challenge” meme to show Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin decked out in full Zombieland gear both then and now, the studio tweeted out a new movie poster to unveil Zombieland: Double Tap.

Fans of the first movie won’t have trouble recalling Columbus’ (Eisenberg’s) rule #2, the double tap — which advises post-apocalyptic survivors to be sure all those shambling corpses are really down for the count by shooting them not once, but twice, for good measure.

While plot details for Double Tap are still light, the sequel reportedly will bring with it a bigger variety of newly evolved zombies to plague the four survivors on an all-new road trip across the U.S. Hey, maybe they'll even find a way to bring Bill Murray back for a cameo — though we suspect he'd be more than a little worse for wear this time around.

Directed by Fleischer (Venom) and also featuring recently announced cast member Zoey Deutch in a still-unnamed role, Zombieland: Double Tap takes dead aim at theaters on Oct. 11.

In other development news, ABC reportedly has ordered a pilot episode for a paranormal-sounding series based on an alternative interpretation of the mysterious and deadly Bermuda Triangle.

Titled simply Triangle, the new show takes the idea behind the legend of the Bermuda Triangle and applies it to something more ambitious: “What if the Bermuda Triangle was not a watery grave in the middle of the ocean, but a land lost in time that has trapped travelers over the course of human history?” the synopsis explains, via Deadline.

The new drama reportedly is being written by Jon Harmon Feldman (Tru Calling) and Sonny Postiglione (Life on Mars), and follows a “shipwrecked” family as they forge alliances with other stranded survivors from across Earth’s history, all of whom have ended up trapped in the Triangle’s time warp and must band together to devise a way to get back home.

ABC also has ordered up a pilot episode for a crime drama based on Oni Press’ Stumptown series of comic books, according to the same report. Adapted by writer Jason Richman from Greg Rucka’s original graphic novels, the contemporary detective series features Dex Parios, “a female private investigator with a gambling problem” working as a private investigator in Portland, Oregon.
