Objects in Space 1/5/19: The darkest nights produce the brightest stars

By Carly Lane
Bumblebee

There's no place like home on the weekend, there's no place like home on the weekend, there's no place like home on the weekend. Sometimes going out is just overrated, you know? Especially when you're counting on catching up on all the reading you've neglected during the regular week because sometimes it's just easier to watch old re-runs of Great British Bake-Off. Not that I'm speaking on behalf of anyone in particular. Obviously.

What did you use today to tackle?

- On the exclusive feminine crisis in The Blackcoat’s Daughter. (Dread Central)
- #AwardsSoMale: Why nominations need to recognize more women directors in 2019. (Variety)
- Bumblebee is the Transformers movie we should’ve had all along. (Birth.Movies.Death.)
- 1999 was an extraordinary year for movies. 20 years later, here’s what it can teach us. (Vox)
