Learn 'How to be a Human' with Harry from SYFY's Resident Alien ahead of Season 2 premiere

Greetings, Earthlings, and welcome back to Patience, Colorado. The much-anticipated second season of SYFY's original series Resident Alien is set to premiere on Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022, and in the meantime, we have some out-of-this-world content to prepare you for the return of Alan Tudyk's Dr. Harry Vanderspeigle. Leading up to the season premiere, we’ll be sharing exclusive videos and stories to get you ready for Season 2.

This week, we're going to learn all of the basics on how to be a human – more specifically, if you're an alien pretending to be a human named Harry, that is. And let us tell you, it's not as easy as you'd think.

You want to learn how to speak like a human? Watch an incessant amount of Law & Order. You want to learn how to drink water? For starters, don't eat the glass you're drinking out of. Oh, and you want to play some pickup basketball with your fellow townspeople? We would recommend not holding onto the ball and running away from the game, but that's just us.

As you can see, Harry's transition from a superior extraterrestrial lifeform to a normal Colorado doctor has not been without its bumps in the road. He doesn’t quite grasp the whole "human culture" thing, and sometimes it shows. (Do you also brush your cheeks when you're brushing your teeth?) But he's certainly trying!
