Comic-Con@Home was only the start of massive virtual conventions in the age of coronavirus. Later this month, DC and Warner Bros. is going to pull out all the superhero stops with their much-anticipated "FanDome" event, which just dropped a teaser trailer earlier today. Set to John Williams' instantly recognizable Superman theme, the trailer welcomes fans into a digital sports stadium with no seating limit (obviously).

There isn't much content beyond that, but we do know the comic book-inspired con will involve exclusive reveals for some of DC's biggest upcoming projects like Wonder Woman 1984The BatmanBlack Adam, The Suicide Squad (check out the movie's snazzy new title treatment here), Superman & Lois, Zack Snyder's cut of Justice League, and much more.

Watch below. At the 30-second mark, see if you can spot the Snyder Cut’s Darkseid (Ray Porter) and what may very well be Steve Agee’s King Shark in The Suicide Squad...

"There is no fan like a DC fan," said Ann Sarnoff, Chair and Chief Executive Officer, Warner Bros., when the event was first announced in June. "For more than 85 years, the world has turned to DC's inspiring heroes and stories to lift us up and entertain us, and this massive, immersive digital event will give everyone new ways to personalize their journey through the DC Universe without lines, without tickets and without boundaries. With DC FanDome, we're able to give fans from around the world an exciting and unparalleled way to connect with all their favorite DC characters, as well as the incredible talent who bring them to life on the page and screen."

DC FanDome is scheduled to run non-stop for 24 hours between August 22 - 23. It will be totally free to access.

The alluring song of Freeform's Siren is coming to an end after three seasons. Deadline has confirmed that the mermaid-based series from creators Eric Wald and Dean White has been canceled by the network. Season 3 aired its final episode (now the series finale) in late May.

Siren first debuted in 2018 and garnered favorable reviews from critics. Indeed, the first season, which became Freeform's most-watched original show of that year, currently holds a fresh 95 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. The subsequent two seasons don't have official critic scores, but fall within the 89-93 percent range when it comes to opinions from the general audience.

The series takes place in Bristol Cove, a seaside town with a mythical reputation: it is said that honest to goodness mermaids once resided there. A local legend becomes a local reality when a mysterious girl known as Ryn (Eline Powell) shows up and causes trouble. Alex Roe ("Ben Pownall"), Fola Evans-Akingbola ("Maddie Bishop"), Ian Verdun ("Xander McClure"), and Rena Owen ("Helen Hawkins") were also a part of the cast.

Fittingly, Siren derived its name from folkloric sea creatures that would use their hauntingly beautiful singing voices to enchant sailors and wreck their ships. Such beings famously try to tempt Odysseus in Homer's The Odyssey.
