Seth Rogen got high and live tweeted Cats: 'Judi Dench looks the most cuddly'

Feeling more like a confined house cat than an independent human being in the era of coronavirus social distancing? Fret not, dear reader. Seth Rogen heard your frustration, got intoxicated on a substance similar to catnip, and live tweeted Tom Hooper's Cats for our amusement.

Describing the film as "truly trippy," Rogen began his professional assessment of the big screen musical misfire (recently named the worst movie of 2019) with a question most of us were all thinking: "Am I supposed to know what a Jellicle is? They’ve said it 200,000 times, but I don’t know what’s happening." Eleven tweets later, and the query was restated, "WHAT IS JELLICLE?!!?"

Then he began to hone in on some of the project's all-star cast, describing Judi Dench's Old Deuteronomy as "the most cuddly" and observing that "Jason Derulo's feet don’t look like they’re touching the ground." Out of respect, Idris Elba (the actor who played Macavity recently tested positive for COVID-19) was spared from the lampooning.

The actor/writer/producer even took the time to watch the behind-the-scenes features, which seem to imply that "cats are like 60 pounds in real life!"

Nevertheless, he did sound a little impressed and jealous when he wrote, "I have a hard time getting actors to rehearse for like 20 mins. They got these people to train to lick their hands and rub them in their hair for weeks!!!"

The night finished off when Rogen learned of a "Butthole Cut" (a phrase now trending on Twitter) that allegedly existed months before the film's theatrical release. If rumors are to be believed, a bunch of CGI cat sphincters were digitally removed before the world saw the finished product.

But don't take our word for it. Rogen's entire feline thread can be found below:
