Star Wars: The Last Jedi Trailer Still

After all this time, we finally know whether Rian Johnson's The Last Jedi is worthy of the Star Wars name, but it looks like we have nothing to worry about. Initial reactions to the movie hit Twitter almost immediately after the screening ended at the Los Angeles premiere. They are mainly in the positive, speaking of a roaring good space opera that outshines The Force Awakens and takes the franchise in a brand-new direction. Plus, they say it's full of ambition, exciting action sequences, fun new characters (#PorgNation), shocking twists, and an overall darker tone. Mark Hamill's getting some nice praise as well for his return as Luke Skywalker. Some are even calling it the best Star Wars movie yet made. In the words of Andy Samberg pretending to be Nicolas Cage, "That's high praise."

Many fans have chosen to place themselves in a voluntary social media blackout until December 15, just in case any spoilers make their way online. And let's be honest, that's more of a strong inevitability than a mere possibility. So, if you are currently in a self-imposed Twitter exile, this is a warning that the following tweets may contain sensitive plot details about The Last Jedi. You have been warned ...

When someone asks if The Last Jedi is better than The Force Awakens:

So, on a scale of excited to mega-super excited, how pumped are you now to see The Last Jedi?
