From Chucky to Paranormal Activity, there's a whole lot of Halloween horror on the dial.

From big movies to equally big genre shows, this week is filled with scares and sci-fi adventure — but mostly scares. Ya know, it is Halloween week after all.

On the premiere side, we have the Halloween-focused season premiere of Doctor Who, kicking off Jodie Whittaker's final run in the TARDIS. If you're looking for something a bit more sci-fi, The CW's reboot of 4400 makes its debut this week as well. On the film side, Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin hits Paramount Plus for some old school ghostly horror, and the Army of the Dead spinoff Army of Thieves hits Netflix.

This week also brings the end of What We Do in the Shadows' latest season, new episodes of Chucky and Day of the Dead on SYFY, a new La Brea on NBC, the premiere of animated series Star Trek: Prodigy on Paramount Plus, a new Doom Patrol on HBO Max, plus new episodes of Invasion and Foundation on Apple TV+.

But that's (still) not all! The CW has the 100th episode of Legends of Tomorrow, which will be loaded with guest stars and surprises. AMC has new episodes of Fear the Walking Dead and The Walking Dead: World Beyond, and SYFY has a double feature of the 1984 and 2010 editions of A Nightmare on Elm Street for Halloween.
