K.C. Collins appeared with Gregory Hines in The Red Sneakers, Gerard Depardieu in Crime Spree (aka Wanted), and Oscar winner Philip Seymour Hoffman in Owning Mahowny. Collins was recognized with a Gemini nomination for Best Performance in a Lead Role as a result of his extraordinary performance as Jedi Barrows in the CTV special, Doomstown.
He won a prestigious ACTRA Award for Outstanding Performance - Male for his remarkable work in Sudz Sutherland's CBC miniseries, Guns. Following this performance, Collins played an African slave turned activist in the bone-chilling thriller The Summit. Other memorable appearances include the TV shows Close To Home, Soul Food, Kojak, Sue Thomas F.B. Eye, Due South and Flashpoint.
