Michelle Tate’s interest in ghosts and the paranormal started when she was six years old, leading to her founding her own paranormal investigation group in the tiny town of Midland, TX when she was just 17. Two years later, she landed a spot on the Ghost Hunters spin-off competition series, Ghost Hunters Academy. After an impressive result – she was a show finalist – she returned to school to focus on her criminal justice studies. Michelle continued to hone her paranormal investigation skills by beefing up her interviewing technique, directing teams, analyzing footage and working with the various tools of the ghost hunting trade. She also taught newbies how to conduct their own investigations. When she’s not on the road with TAPS, she volunteers at her local community theater.
